Les maillages fournis (au format ''.unv'' et ''.med'') contiennent des éléments 1D (poutres), des éléments 2D (triangles et quadrangles) et les éléments 3D (pentaèdres) effectivement utilisés pour les calculs éléments finis.
La présence d'éléments 1D et 2D est due à la méthodologie de construction du maillage utilisée dans Salome: discrétisation des segments (produit des mailles 1D), puis discrétisation des faces (produit des mailles 2D) puis obtention des mailles 3D.
